If you had just a few herbs growing at home…you could make your own teas, support your health, and connect with your garden in a whole different way.

Today, I’m sharing 5 herbs that I believe everyone should grow—especially if you enjoy tea and natural wellness.

If you’ve been here with me, you already know—I love growing herbs. Not just because they’re easy…but because they’re useful.

You can grow them… harvest them… and actually bring them into your everyday life.”

I want to share 5 of my favorite herbs that are perfect for beginners—and beautiful for teas and wellness.

These are simple… powerful… and they don’t ask for a whole lot.

HERB #1: MINT

Let’s start with mint…

Mint is one of the easiest herbs you can grow… and once it gets going—it’s going to grow.

Benefits:

  • Great for digestion
  • Refreshing tea
  • Cooling in the body

This is one I always recommend—especially if you want something that gives back quickly.”

HERB #2: LEMON BALM (Calming Herb)

Next is lemon balm…

This is a beautiful herb… especially if you’re looking for something calming.

Benefits:

  • Helps with relaxation
  • Light citrus flavor
  • Perfect evening tea

This is one I like to keep on hand when I just want to slow things down a bit.

HERB #3: GINGER (Wellness Powerhouse)

Now ginger… this one is a staple. It may take a little patience to grow, but it’s worth it.

Benefits:

  • Supports digestion
  • Warming to the body
  • Great in teas and juices

If you’re into juicing or wellness drinks, ginger is one you’ll definitely use.

HERB #4: HOLY BASIL /TULSI (Deep Wellness)

Another one I love is holy basil… also called tulsi basil.

This one has been used for years in wellness practices.

Benefits:

  • Helps with stress support
  • Great for tea
  • Adaptogenic qualities

This one feels a little more intentional… like you’re really doing something for your body.

HERB #5: CHAMOMILE (Gentle + Beginner Friendly)

And last—chamomile…this one is soft, simple, and just easy to love.

Benefits:

  • Calming
  • Great before bed
  • Beautiful flowers

And there’s something special about growing your own chamomile… and turning it into tea.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

Now here’s the thing—you don’t need all five at once.

Start with one… maybe two… learn them… use them…

and let your garden grow from there.

Conclusion

So I’d love to know—do you grow any herbs already? Or which one would you start with?
